Our History

The Colorado Force, formerly Fort Collins Force, was founded in 1996.  The organization began as a non-profit and was later moved into Triple Crown Sports and was the anchor for the Soccer Division.  In 2005, Triple Crown Sports got out of soccer and the team formed a small group of investors (including Triple Crown Sports) to form its current structure: The Force, LLC.

The co-founders included Kristin Maneilla and Amy Snider (current Managing Parther).  Both women were former collegiate players and formed the foundation and strong philosphy of women and players holding significant roles in the success and responsibilities of the organization.

The Force has recieved numerous awards in the United Soccer Leagues including Hall of Fame 10+ years club, Marketing of the Year, Executive of the Year, and numerous tenures on the Executive Committee of the W-League.
