Recruiting and Tryouts
Recruiting Procedure:
Please read through the following information. If you are interested in pursuing a spot on the 2009 roster, send your soccer resume with three references to cayla@forcesoccer.org or (970)207-1486 fax.
2009 PLAYER EXPECTATIONS AND BENEFITS
PLAYER EXPECTATIONS
All players must have Primary Insurance. The league offers secondary insurance, but players’ primary insurance will be used first, if necessary.
Practice, Games and Community Service
Report to Fort Collins on Saturday May 9th 9:00am for tryouts and first training.
Practices- between 2-3 practices/week
Games- 12 W-League games this summer, 2 roadtrips: Seattle/Vancouver, and
LA
Community Service - plan to serve approximately 1 hour/week of volunteer service for the team each week
PLAYER BENEFITS
- Host family housing, if requested– please let us know if you need housing and we’ll begin to place you ASAP.
- Membership to 2 local health clubs
Miramont Sports Center : includes indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, hot tub, cardio and lifting
Miramont North: includes basketball court, spinning, indoor track, cardio, lifting, and huge indoor climbing wall.
- Travel and Lodging Expenses on road-trips, as well as per diem.
- Competitive schedule in one of the top conferences in the W-League
- Force Team Jacket
- Complimentary team meals
- Athletic Trainers available through Orthopaedic Center of the Rockies
- Rocky Mountains and high elevation training
