Force History 1994-USISL creates 8 team W-League 1996- Fort Collins Force Franchise established as 501(c)4 1997- Inaugural Force match vs. San Francisco Nighthawks draws 1,200 fans to Boltz Field (“The Cage”) 1998- Force wins W-2 National Championship in Miami, Florida defeating the New York Magic and Hampton Roads Piranhas. 2000- Force becomes a division of Triple Crown Sports, grassroots sporting company. Force co-founder Amy Snider hired full-time to run the Force team and 3v3 soccer events 2002- Force and Triple Crown Sports built the “Force Field.” Training and game field for the team 2004- Amy Snider takes over ownership of team and in September Snider formed an LLC to run the Force. Cayla Deacon, a three year veteran and team captain, was named the General Manager. 2006- Force celebrated it’s 10th anniversary! 2007- Force participates in first-ever MLS & W-League double header match at brand new Dick’s Sporting Goods Park (Women’s Soccer Celebration) 2007- Force announces move to Loveland Sports Park for new home field after 11 years in Fort Collins 2008- Force announces 2nd Annual Women’s Soccer Celebration double header featuring the defending W-League Champions, Washington Freedom and guest appearance by soccer icon
